What is CompuTec AI?

CompuTec AI is in active development. It will be a virtual assistant for SAP Business One and CompuTec ProcessForce, built to guide your team step by step, to carry out business tasks and build the reports you ask for, and to configure your system alongside your consultants. All of it rests on a live model of your own environment, covering your processes, your configuration, and the customizations built for you, so an answer reflects how your business actually runs.

Is CompuTec AI available today?

No. CompuTec AI is in active development and is not yet a released product. Its first capability, answering questions about how SAP Business One and CompuTec ProcessForce work, is currently being developed, and further capabilities will be rolled out in stages. Coverage will widen as the live model of your environment is extended. Everything described on this page is in development or planned rather than generally available.

How can CompuTec AI configure our system?

Your consultants and your team will agree a blueprint for what the implementation has to deliver, and CompuTec AI will turn that into the configuration steps needed in SAP Business One and CompuTec ProcessForce. It will carry those steps out under your consultants' direction, then check that the configuration is correct and that the system behaves the way your team intended. Your consultants are not replaced by this. Their expertise decides what the system has to do, and they direct and answer for the work. What changes is how much of it they carry out manually, and how quickly a project can reach go-live.

Can CompuTec AI build reports for us?

That is planned. Describe the analysis you need in plain language, covering areas such as sales, warehouse, and costs, and CompuTec AI will put the report together. Where a request leaves something open, it will ask about it first, so the report answers the question your team meant to ask.

How will CompuTec AI connect to SAP Business One?

Through CompuTec AppEngine and its MCP Server, the connection layer that will give CompuTec AI secure, structured access to your SAP Business One system. That means it will see your business the way your ERP sees it: the same permissions, the same data model, and the same configuration. The MCP Server is built on the Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI tools to real business systems. CompuTec AI will need CompuTec AppEngine, which is included with the CompuTec Solution Suite, so the connection layer comes with the solutions you already license. CompuTec AI itself will be licensed separately. If you are already on CompuTec AppEngine, that infrastructure is in place and there will be no separate connector to build or maintain.

How will our SAP Business One data be kept secure?

CompuTec AI will operate inside the access controls the MCP Server enforces, and every agent action will be validated against your SAP Business One security model, using the same roles, authorizations, and permissions your users already work within. Access will stay governed by the SAP Business One authorizations your administrators already maintain.

Will CompuTec AI make changes without asking?

That is for your team to decide. CompuTec AI is being built to work at the level of oversight you set: proposing each step for approval, acting within boundaries your team has agreed and checking in only when a decision is needed, or completing well-understood, low-risk tasks on its own. Safeguards will detect where automatic execution carries risk and ask your team to confirm key actions.

How accurate will the answers be?

Answers will be grounded in your own environment rather than in general knowledge from the open internet, which is what the live model of your systems is for. Accuracy is measured and refined throughout development, and users will be able to rate an answer or report a problem, so improvements are driven by real feedback.

Yes.
