Mifar is a specialty chemicals manufacturer based in Rescaldina, near Milan, Italy. Founded in 1980, Mifar produces solid pigment predispersions, known in the industry as "chips," used in paints, inks, varnishes, cosmetics, and colored coatings. It's a product made by only a very few producers worldwide, and Mifar sells it today in more than 50 countries. Between 2010 and 2017, Mifar's production volume grew from 450 tons to more than 1,000 tons a year, bringing a lot of new opportunities and new challenges to its day-to-day business.
