Full production visibility, built for the growth ahead

TE-SA is a manufacturer of hydro-thermo-sanitary components and systems, based in Borgomanero, Italy. Founded in 1986, the company's core business is radiant floor heating systems and the fittings and valves that go into heating installations. TE-SA employs 35 people, generated more than €14 million in revenue last year, and exports 87% of what it makes to customers around the world.

The catalyst for change

As TE-SA expanded into new export markets, it needed a way to give its representative offices abroad direct access to company data, managed properly rather than piecemeal.

When we found ourselves expanding into the market, we had to approach it with a working tool like SAP Business One, in order to access our representative offices abroad directly, with a management perspective.

The solution

TE-SA implemented SAP Business One with implementation partner SYS-DAT Group, who supported the company and its consultant through the early stages, particularly around accounting. TE-SA then gradually brought in CompuTec ProcessForce, to bring its internal production, from the turning department through to assembly, into the same system.

  • SAP Business One gives TE-SA's representative offices abroad direct, real-time access to company data, wherever they are in the world, all connected back to headquarters in Borgomanero.
  • CompuTec ProcessForce gives TE-SA the tools to manage internal production, from the turning department through to assembly, and to monitor the progress of products at any moment.
We gradually brought CompuTec ProcessForce into the system, for complete management of everything, like an internal production process that starts in the turning department and goes all the way through to assembly. We can monitor the progress of products at any moment, we can give more reliable delivery dates, and all of this now helps us respond better to our customers.

The results

With SAP Business One and CompuTec ProcessForce connected, TE-SA found a much leaner, more fluid way of working than its previous system. Warehouse values, invoicing, and shipping data all arrive in real time, at any moment of the day, from anywhere in the world, and the company can now create production batches and manage stock and minimum stock levels with greater rotation.

Key outcomes:

  • Real-time access to warehouse, invoicing, and shipping data from anywhere in the world
  • A leaner, more fluid way of working than TE-SA's previous system
  • Production monitored at any moment, from the turning department through to assembly
  • More reliable delivery dates for customers
  • Better stock rotation, with clearer control over stock and minimum stock levels
We feel stronger about the years ahead, with a big goal of growth for the company.
