What is CompuTec WebUp?

CompuTec WebUp is an easy-to-use, web-based customization and automation toolkit for the SAP Business One Web Client interface, enabling consultants and end-users to personalize and uplift the user experience and to increase productivity in everyday interactions with SAP Business One.

CompuTec WebUp is designed exclusively for use with the SAP Business One Web Client, in combination with the CompuTec AppEngine extensibility framework.

What is CompuTec AppEngine?

CompuTec AppEngine 3.0 is a prerequisite for CompuTec WebUp, and it is available free of charge. CompuTec AppEngine is an extensibility framework that includes embedded AI capability, SAP UI5 App development with analytics, and OpenTelemetry. It offers a powerful and flexible platform designed to significantly extend the capabilities of SAP Business One, empowering the creation of a seamless user experience while enabling the development of customer-centric solutions and integrations, unlocking a world of possibilities for your business.

Does CompuTec WebUp work with both SAP Business One Desktop and Web Clients?
No, CompuTec WebUp is exclusively for the SAP Business One Web Client.

Is CompuTec WebUp available for SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL databases?
Yes, it is available for both databases.

What web browsers are supported?
During the preview program, we recommend using Google Chrome to perform customizations. Microsoft Edge is also supported; however, due to a bug in Microsoft Edge (reported to Microsoft), the CompuTec WebUp panel disappears when a user switches to another browser tab. Support for additional browsers will be added in future releases.

After customizations have been created, the user can use all the web browsers that the SAP Business One Web Client supports, as your custom configuration is deployed as a SAP Business One Web Client Extension.

Do I need CompuTec AppEngine 3.0 to use CompuTec WebUp?
Yes. CompuTec AppEngine 3.0 is provided free of charge.

How much does CompuTec WebUp cost?
For the duration of the Preview Program, until March 2026, CompuTec WebUp is available to SAP Business One partners and customers free of charge

The official release (planned for March 2026) will entail a license fee for each SAP Business One Web Client user who needs to see CompuTec WebUp customizations. Perpetual and subscription licenses will be available, with prices varying by country, adjusted based on the SAP Business One price list. For example, in the EMEA region, an initial bundle of 5 users is available for a perpetual license price of 1,350 EUR or a monthly subscription of 46 EUR. Further 5-user bundles are available for a perpetual license price of 675 EUR or a monthly subscription of 23 EUR. Please contact webup@computec.one for further information.
